About the Role:
SLA Worldwide is seeking an Associate Buyer to support a curated portfolio of various brands, including HBCU News, Lily Palmer Flower Company, and 1920 Merch.

This role focuses on inventory management, purchasing, and assortment planning to ensure products are accurately stocked, replenished on time, and aligned with demand across multiple brand channels.

Job Duties:
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels across multiple brand accounts.
  • Track sales performance and identify reorder and restock needs.
  • Create and place purchase orders with vendors.
  • Monitor stock counts, SKU accuracy, and product availability.
  • Support forecasting and buying decisions based on sales trends.
  • Assist with seasonal assortment planning and product drops.
  • Coordinate with vendors on fulfillment, restocks, and lead times.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across systems (Shopify/POS or similar).

Who You Are:
  • Experience in retail buying, inventory management, merchandising, or retail operations.
  • Strong attention to detail with comfort managing inventory counts and data.
  • Ability to balance multiple product lines and reorder cycles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for vendor coordination.
  • Comfortable working with sales data to guide purchasing decisions.
