Position information:
- Position: Server.
- Location: Nashville International Airport.
- Schedule: Varies; weekends required (flexibility preferred).
- Pay rate: $2.50 per hour + tips.
- Employment type: Full-time or Part-time.
Job summary:
The Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and responsive service to ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests. The primary objective of this role is to create a welcoming environment that encourages guests to return.
Essential qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Previous restaurant experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain an Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) serving permit within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with managers, kitchen staff, coworkers, and guests.
- Basic knowledge of dining room service procedures.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to safely lift and carry trays weighing up to 20–30 pounds.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
- Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a positive and professional manner in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts available:
- Morning shift.
- Day shift.
- Evening shift.
Additional requirements:
- Must be able to pass a federal background check.
- Open availability required, including early morning shifts (as early as 4:30 a.m.) and evening closing shifts (up to 10:00 p.m.).
